Questions, answered
Everything families ask us most — about moving in, care, costs and daily life.
Moving in
For independent living, usually within two to four weeks of choosing a residence. For assisted living and respite, often within 48 hours of assessment. We'll coordinate movers, paperwork and the welcome lunch.
Please do — your favourite armchair, photographs and books make it home. Residences come with quality basics (bed, lighting, window coverings) and you furnish the rest. Respite suites are fully furnished.
Cats and small dogs are welcome in independent and assisted residences, with dog runs and pet-sitting partners on site. Assistance animals are welcome everywhere, including memory neighbourhoods.
Care & daily life
Every village has awake nursing and care staff 24/7, with emergency call systems in every residence and reassurance rounds through the night in assisted and memory households.
Our nurses order, store, prompt and supervise all medication, liaise with your GP or pharmacy, and review everything monthly. Families receive updates after every review.
Yes — this is one of our founding promises. Partners can share a residence while one receives assisted or memory support, or live steps apart in the same village.
Breakfast at your pace, a morning club or class, lunch with friends, an afternoon outing or rest, then dinner, live music or a film. Quiet days are equally respected — the rhythm is yours.
Costs & visiting
Residence, utilities, weekly housekeeping, all meals, activities, outings, transport and 24/7 staffing. Care is tiered separately so you only pay for support you actually use.
Anytime — there are no visiting hours. Guest suites and family dining rooms make longer stays easy, and grandchildren eat free on Sundays.
Yes — our respite stays from three days work perfectly as trials. Over 60% of trial guests choose to stay permanently, with no second move required.
